PURPOSE / SCOPE:
Internal and external uses of the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine name and logo must be consistent with uniformly high professional standards in content and appearance.
DEFINITIONS:
- Wordmark – A distinct, text-only typographic treatment of the institution’s name.
POLICY:
Official ICOM wordmark, logos and seals have been created to maintain a consistent campus identity. College policy requires that all internal and external uses of ICOM logos, wordmarks and seals (whether through print, electronic, broadcast, clothing, etc.) comply with ICOM graphic and font standards and be pre-approved by the Director of Communications and Marketing. For more information or required pre-approval submit (excluding course syllabi, student handouts, course materials, etc) requests to sdillon@idahocom.org. Academic-related documents containing the ICOM wordmarks, logos and seals including course syllabi, course materials, etc., are exempt.
The name, marks, and image of the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine cannot be used to imply or suggest endorsement of any product or service not provided by the College.
Individuals and organizations outside ICOM who wish to use any of the official marks must first obtain written permission to use the official marks by contacting ICOM’s Director of Communications and Marketing.
Approved requests for use of the ICOM wordmark, logos and seals must follow the ICOM Style Guide.
