PURPOSE / SCOPE:
Provide guidelines for employees on accepting gifts.
POLICY:
Faculty, Staff, Administrators, and Students may not accept gifts or compensation as a condition of participation and may not accept any gift that may be reasonably viewed as having influence over educational content and delivery. Free gifts are prohibited regardless of value and nature and regardless of where they are offered whether in the context of continuing education programs or otherwise.
