PURPOSE / SCOPE:
ICOM provides confidential and concierge services to help employees and family members resolve problems that may interfere with work, family, and life in general.
POLICY AND PROCEDURE:
All part- or full-time employees and their immediate dependent family members are eligible to use the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). EAP services are free, confidential, and provided by experts. The EAP can assist employees and family members in a number of ways, including, but not limited to:
- 24-hour crisis help
- In-person counseling
- Online consultations
- Certain legal services
- Certain financial services
The EAP offers crisis intervention, assessment, short-term counseling, information, and referrals. Should an employee be referred to an outside professional or agency, the cost of the outside treatment or counseling is the employee or family member’s responsibility and it may be covered under the medical plan. There is no obligation to follow the advice or take the suggested referral the EAP provides.
To access EAP services, go to BPAHealth.com/eap-home; enter “ICOM” as the Employer Name and enter “800.726.0003” as the Toll Free Number. You will also find current health news, tools for parenting, wellness resources, financial calculators, legal forms, and numerous online trainings.
